Very sad news! But I'm very happy that Mayla is ok!
Yesterday it was time for the puppy to come. The last days Mayla gave us some signs that something was going on, but it doesn't started.
This morning we didn't have any good feeling anymore. Together with the vet we decided to do a caesarian. And we are happy that we did that.
A really small boy was born, but he looked like a 5 weeks old embryo. He was alive but we had to let him go.
Mayla is doing very well and we are so happy that we listening to our feelings, because the delivery shouldn't have started.
 

9:th week after mating
The last days.. Mayla is doing very well, calmer on the walks and HUNGRY! She sleeps a lot.
Her weight is 17.3 kg and her belly is 58 cm.

8:th week after mating
The last week, very exciting. Mayla is doing very well. She is calmer but she still want to join us on our long walks.
Her cute little belly is 57,5 cm.
The living room has been changed to a puppy room and the puppy pen is in there. Since friday I sleep downstairs with Mayla, near the puppy pen. We take her temperature 2 times a day.

7:th week after mating
2 weeks to go. Everything is going very well.
The same as last week, she is calmer and HUNGRY!

6:th week after mating
3 weeks to go. Everything is going perfect. She is calmer, don't play with the other girls and HUNGRY!
We know that it's not a big litter and we see that when we check the size of her belly, 53,5 cm. Big difference from last time.

5:th week after mating
We went back to the vet for a new ultrasound and it was great to see.

She loves to train, everything for food! :)

Her weight is 16,88 kg and her belly is 52,5 cm.


 

4:th week after mating
We couldn't wait anymore now so on February 2 we went to the vet for an ultrasound and.. YES!!! She is pregnant!!!
But it's not going to be a big litter. Sad for the people on the waiting list, but we are happy that she is pregnant.
Next week we are going back for a new ultrasound.
The puppies are expected around March 10.

3:rd week after mating
We got the terrible news that Google is dead! We will miss that boy!
Mayla is doing very well, she want's FOOD! (And sometimes she don't wanto to eat.) She don't want to play with Eshra and Stevie, is she pregnant?
 

2:nd week after mating
Google is still missing. Mayla has changed in her behavior. She is more calm than normal. She throw up the food a couple of times.
 

1:st week after mating
Because Google still is missing we don't be in the mood for the Mayla pregnant. Very sad!

Second insemination today. All went well, just like friday. Now we cross our fingers that she get pregnant!
If we had done a natural mating the 6 of January have been the right mating day. So we keep this date.
The puppies are expected around March 10. Her belly is 50cm.

At 10.00 we were at the clinic in Dortmund, Germany. The insemination was endoscopic. The semen quality was 75%, that's great. Mayla was such a good girl!
When we came back home we got the terrible news that Google from the A-litter (Mayla and Collin) was missing.

Seventh time at the vet, progesterone test. It was 10,7. It's getting high. We spoke to the clinic in Dortmund and decided to get there on friday.

The frozzen semen is now in Dortmund, Germany.

Contacted Mirja (kennel Kitimat). Mayla will be inseminated. The clinic in Finland has to send the frozen semen from Allan.
